The Women's Visionary Congress brings together women and men from a variety of disciplines. Our intention is to create a community discussion about the current and future role of entheogens. While WVC presenters are almost entirely women, we welcome men to participate and add their perspectives.

Below is a listing of the 2007 panels and essays written by the organizers of this conference. The first essay recounts the history of women and prohibition and contemporary perspectives on the Drug War. The second is a joint statement by the organizers of the 2007 Women's Visionary Congress, the Sibyl Society and the Multidisciplinary Association for Psychedelic Studies (MAPS).

Why is this a Women's Congress? In the United States, women have a long tradition of activism concerning prohibition. Women and Prohibition reviews this history and looks at the current impact of drug prohibition.
